Bremen is an important city for space industry. Daimler Chrysler produces
some of their most popular cars here.
The city is neither small nor large. The public transport system is excellent. Everything is accessible by bike and because situated on a river
you can discover the city even from the riverside.
There are many cultural aspects (cinemas, museums, live music, theatres)
and many sport facilities. The football club "Werder Bremen" has
been playing in the champions league for several years.
The surroundings of Bremen are also interesting - just in one hour´s journey
by train you reach Hamburg, The North Sea or the " Lüneburger Heide"
- in two hours distance you might get to the "Harz" - mountains, where you
can hike or ski in winter.
